Is there a way to transfer Character data from Belzebub so I don't have to restart for MP?

Unfortunately no. The format of storing character data was changed for Tchernobog (alpha) to correct corrupt saves, get around admin privlidges, and I assume to support MP specifics and trade stash.

A character converter utility would be a nice feature though if someone out there knew the format.
