Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

Installing fresh Diablo 1 client, extracting Release1045.zip into install folder, running Belzebub.exe and it only unpacks me file log.txt with line at the end APP: SDL setting inital video mode failed. Client remains to look like d1 classic.
What am I doing wrong here?

so any1? this is clearly more common issue, cause im not alone experiencing it.

I guess your video card doesn't support openGL which this mod uses.

I dont know your system and reason you got issue on installation/run.
but working on my system below at least.

CPU : intel i5 2430m (Sandybridge)
GPU : Intel HD Graphics 3000 (w/o Discrete GPU)
Install directory : /Program Files (x86)/Diablo HD/ *changed from "C/diablo"(default setting)
Compatibility on running (property of exe) : checking "Disable Visual Themes","Disable desktop composition","Run As Administrator"

I guess "Try to use other computer."Noktis (Site admin) said means not enough (match) requirement.
(It might be due to that GPU's Open GL isnt match, maybe)
try changing directory and check compatibilities if your hardware is enough to run.

You install it wrong.

1. Unpack release 1045. (where you want to new folder)
2. copy diablo.mpq from you Diablo CD to release1045/dat/game_data. (in release 1045)
3. Play.

same didnt help:

pc specs are amd fx 8350, 16 gigs ram, gigabyte gtx 660.

the other pc got it running, definetely video issue.
