Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

The game won't let me create a new character and start playing, how can I fix this and start playing what looks like an amazing mod Please Help

I couldn't wait for a reply, but I got it running anyway, had to put it to compatibility mode and run as an administrator, why didn't I think of that before? Thanks anyway though! Great job on the mod by the way. Love the new level of difficulty, gives it some challenge!
