Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

I am new to this mod and I am just wondering for those that have played it.
Can you actually beat this version?
I realize there are no quests but do the bosses still spawn, etc.?
I would be fine with just killing guys and bosses even if there is no direct quest line.
And are there any gamebreaking bugs that would make this unplayable
at some point?

Yes it is! I've beat it at normal and currently playing it at hell. No cutscene after beating Diablo dough just collect the lut and teleport to town.

As for the bugs, aside from the bus reported so far and the occasional crashing the game is playable!

Yes, hell is beatable. Beware of crashes when your golem gets killed
