Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

Just confused as to if it can be found in normal mode? Is it restricted to randomly jroping from monsters, chests, and barrels? Or can you farm for it from diablo?

Pretty sure it's a no, i know i found my first one somewhere in Hell levels of Nightmare difficulty. And since it's a Tier 2 dagger, there is a very small chances that a Tier 2 item drops in Normal, and be of uniq quality. Don't bother farming Normal anyway, the drops are not so good, not even for materials.

Other than specific quest drops on Normal (Arcane, Azurath, Optic Amulet, Griswalds, Butcher, Ring Truth, Lachdanan's helm)


all drops are random and dependent on level and magic find.

Thanks for the feed back,i was curious because im in nightmare and would love to have to to replace my azurath blade. Tried of beating on cath monsters 5-8 times before they die im lvl 30

I just found the Zakarumite knife on Nightmare dropped by one of the mages in the Lazarus level.

Haha nice, well I may be in trouble I have found upgraded rares to compensate my softness for a warrior but my weapon is turning to a fly swatter right quickly. I may be forced to purchase a magic weap with significantly higher damange before long unless i can stumble apon a unique weap.

My most frequently used crafting recipes are UPGRADE RARE WEAPON and UPGRADE UNIQUE WEAPON.

With good mag find% you should be able to farm some decent unique and rares. If you do find a rare item with good bonuses but is still a tier 1 item, just save it until you find the UPGRADE RARE scroll. Then you should be able to hit much harder.

I am still looking for UPGRADE SET WEAPON, that will be a slight game changer for me for playing some sets. Won't affect end game, but will give me a chance to play some of the low level sets at higher game level.
