Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

Hello.

I have a problem when starting the game.
It says:
"Failed to create palette files: levels\towndata\town.pal."


I DID put the diabat.mpq file into the folder and I have no idea how to fix the problem. I tried to run in administrator mode. or Windows XP mode. I tried everything, but the error appears every time.

Graphic card is NVidia GeForce GTX460

Requirements are not met or you using illegal copy of Diablo.

Weird. I played the Belzebub some time ago and it worked fine on this computer. I even started it today and it works fine.

I have original Diablo CD from few years back (from Blizzard anthology, or whatever that edition was called). And the file worked fine with Belzebub.

This is problem connected with your hardware/software, not mod.

My friend have Windows 7 and he can't run the game too. Same error that you have. I think it the Windows 7 issue for some reason. I have Windows 10 and it run fine. We using the same game copy. Like I said. Must be the Windows 7 issue.

I use win 7 32 bit and have no problems besides occasional game crashes if charged bolt enchanted monsters produce too much bolts
