Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

Hi!

Its been a long time since i visited last time.
Last time i got the impression that the project would be put down.
So at the moment I am super happy to see it up again

I wonder if someone i short can explain the difference in the mods, cuz i lost track of it all:

Hellfire
Belzebub
Tchernobog alpha

I think you have seen the subforums and that's why you ask, each is for a "different" mod and you should talk about the one you play in it's category.

Hellfire: only official expansion for Diablo 1 (not modded basically)
Belzebub: SinglePlayer beta for the HD mod (required only Diablo, Hellfire content not included)
Tchernobog: MultiPlayer alpha build for the HD mod (works in SP also, only a few things changed compared to Belzebub but it's kinda buggy, and it's in the early stages, you can't do quests, you can just level your character)

But is Belzebub complete?

That's a bummer. A fully functional MP port would've been awesome. There's allot of people that'd never play any ARPGS besides this one if this was completed.

@flesh420 Yes it is beta, but it is done. Anyway Belzebub is just a name given to a SP build lets say, like Tchernobog is given to MP build of the same project.

@Doubtful For the best experience you should play Belzebub, it is pretty much complete. Tchernobog is still in it's early stages, there is not much to do (no quests for ex) and has a few bugs.
