There is limit for light and medium armor regarding physical resistance.

Now everything makes sense! Thank you!

And do you think that there would be too many variables if light and medium armor gives advantage to oppose their physical resistance limit? Like in diablo 2 that walk speed was faster with lighter armors? Or is it too much for nothing?

And thank you again!

Seriously in D2 was such thing? Or in one of mods? Because i can;t remember such thing...

On other hand... In this mod there's lack of possibilities to inrease walk speed. So decreasing it with changing armors seems not right...

In diablo 2 was the specification of armor, but it didn't work as Martim described. In Diablo 2 it was solved in a logical way - you have little strength - you can move a certain weight on a smaller distance from someone having a lot of strength. Such a person would carry more weight at the less tiring for a longest distance.

The game worked like this: character wearing lighter armor, such as breastplate (strength req 30) could just run longer (i.e. stamina bar decreased more slowly) than character wearing ancient armor (strength req 100). However, this had no effect on the character movement speed. Only for the range of character movement.

Yes, I understand BrightLord.

And really, guys? It's been a long time since I played diablo 2, but I remember running speed changing depending on the weight of the armor, because it was a real dillema for my assassin. But, again, it's been a long time and there's a fine chance I may be wrong... Sorry about that.
Edit: http://diablo2.diablowiki.net/Faster_Run_Walk it says here that armor weight influences in walk/run speed, if I understood correctly of course. Take a look if you have the time. And also sheilds influence in walk run speed.

But back to the subject: is low requirements the only advantage for wearing light armors? Do you guys think it's worth for us to think of other advantages for wearing them?
