you have to salvage already crafted gear to get silver oil.

I know how to get silver oil but what is the most efficient way?
For example, only crafting recipes with low lvl materials or crafting recipes with high end materials?

Make low level rings and amulets for silver oil. Make a bunch of them. Low tier armor and weapons are useless, so use up those round and square gems crafting rings and amulets.
