Dissapearing items

I find that sometimes playing on battlenet be it with someone else or alone, that some items i click on to pick up simply just disappear. they dont go into the inventory or flop on the ground. It doesnt seem to matter if i have room, no room, or have my inventory up. ive tried it all and it still randomly happens.

Also for an unexplainable reason, i have a game on battlenet but no one is in it, or can join it. Me and my friend were in game and lost connection to battlenet after a few hours, so that may be the problem.

I am working with a dial-up connection if that matters.

It's due to lag issue and game sometimes "eats" items, nothing can be done with it.

Check the FW settings/router (if you got some adsl), system FW.
