A few things I would like cleared up please

Hey everyone,

I am a really old school diablo player but haven't dusted off the cd in a long time. I can't believe it is only now I have discovered that there are all these different mods + excited classic diablo players!!
I have gotten everything to work as I am not tech savvy (pretty noob really) but everything is working fine.
I do have a couple of problems though that any answers would be appreciated.

1. As I have read, all the quests are in single player + new ones, and on multiplayer there are only the 4... If this is right, can someone give me a list of the quests in single player just so I can suss it out.

2. I'm looking to getting a lan running with a few of my friends. As I’m not up to speed with the whole lingo of the computer world, how do lans work? I know you need specific cables that connect to each of the computers, but I’m still confused.

3. Also with lans, will the games be run off the internet basis i.e. that there will only be 4 quests? or do lans run from the single player basis?? (Yeah I’m a noob)
