Btw, does someone have a list with the locations of specific set items? Is there any interest in such a list? Example:
Berserker - Axe - Normal Difficulty - dLvl 6 - MP10
Sigon - Belt - Normal Difficulty - River of Flame - MP10

I included MPx, because i am not sure if the higher $player X makes it possible to find specific items that would be available only on higher dLvls, or if it only gives a higher chance of finding those specific items in that lvl, but they would also drop with MP0. Can someone clarify me on this?

There are no specific locations of unique or set items. Everything dropped is random. Higher ilvl items are dropped at deeper dlvl/mlvl and difficulty. If you want loot, obtain close to 180% Magic Find and run the treasure areas at the highest difficulty.

The only items that appear in specific locations are Quest items on Normal. Ring of Truth, Optic Amulet, Fools Crest, Azurath, Grizwald's Edge, Maiden's Broach, Leoric's Crown, and some others.

All quest items are fairly useless past the first few levels of Nightmare.

Well, thanks for clarifying me then.
I was just looking for some set items for a long time cause i am trying to complete my sets. And i was running Lost Treasure and Chamber of Bones and Horazon for a long time - sure i found many set items, but after some time these drops were repeating, thus missing other set items i am looking for.

So yesterday and the day before it - these were my days! I decided to do runs throughout Nightmare with MP10 and was able to finish 5 of my sets!!! Low lvl sets, but still

I am still missing 6 low-lvl set items and after that i can continue farming torment, huh.

Btw, is there any reason that you say to have 180% MF? I am lucky, my normal "everyday" build on sorcerer has 181% MF

It has come up before that MF over 180 begins to have a detrimental effect.

There may not be any proof to that, but seems to be an agreed upon maximum MF number. Could be a bug, could be bad luck.
