Unable to hear sound

Hello,

Just discovered this mod today and thought I would check it out.

I installed Release1045 and unpacked to my Diablo I location. Unfortunately I am unable to hear any sound at all. I manually installed OpenAL, placed in their OpenAL.dll in-place of the provided, as well as removed them from the directory itself. Compatibility settings and admin mode. Nothing seems to be working unfortunately.

I am using a USB headset : Logitech G35

Interestingly, this also prevents in-game dialogs from activating. As well as causes a crash on combat.

Hello again,

I was really hoping someone had some advice. I would love to play this game again. Even with the provided OpenAL.dll I am unable to hear sound. And any sound triggered during combat causes me to crash. Additionally, I am unable to see any dialog because of this problem. I am also unable to change my sound level within the game.
