I was looking at the exp table.
why is the value 4294617770 posted below level 60? and why does it say max when you approach it, and why does the exp counter go to 0 again when you hit this value

At level 60, you have MAXed out.
The programming prohibits ex over that number. Must be a fix for a bug if the xp overflows. It has been discussed on this forum before. Try SEARCH and you will find a better answer.
Several people have said "Now that I have beat Diablo Torment and have reached level 60, what else is there to do?" My opinion is that the game just gets started at level 50 through 60. The main quests are over, but you can replay them at higher difficulty and if you backup your character at level 59.9, you can reset the stats and do something entirely different. Run with completely different equipment combinations. At that point, it is all about collecting best items and crafting the perfect gear.
