Diablo 2 Multires Hack Blurry

Has anyone tried the multi res hack for Diablo 2?
When I walk or run the background blurs and it hurts your eyes. I've tried both direct draw and 3D but there is no difference.

Seems like it does it even when playing without the hack.
I've tried glide3D, Direct2D and 3D but the background goes out of focus when you move.

Try running the game in compatibility mode WinXP SP3, WinXP SP2, any that works, also try checking the Reduce color mode, 16 bit color, Disable display scaling, and try running the game by adding -ns (no sound) line in shortcut's Target field. I don't think you need all of these but just try different combinations and see what works.

Yeh I've got all of them enabled.
The game looks fine, its just the background goes out of focus while the main character stays clear which hurts your eyes if you look at anything besides your character. Maybe it was always like that? Diablo 1 doesn't do it though.
