Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

That's the topic. The Download link for the HD download's not working for me.
Also, can anyone help me get Diablo working with this mod?

Oh, okay, thanks! Missed that.
I've got it downloaded, but it's still not working. It says it requires Diabdat.mpq (I think that was it) to run, and so won't run. What do I do now?

You must copy the MPQ file from your Diablo 1 CD into the mod directory.

No CD, buy a copy or purchase from GOG and install.

or find the file on the internet and get lucky

That's working now, and I can load the game fine, but I have zero sound and can't seem to talk to anyone - the gossip button doesn't work.
