Playing in LAN

Post by Hassadar »

hey everyone,

a friend of mine tried to play in LAN but, we can't seem to find each other.
when i type in the (local) adress the button "ok" stays greyed out and the "game list" stays also empty.
we both have our firewalls shut down (for testing), and we can ping/find each other in windows. i found a thread in which it was suggested to start the game as admin, which we tried but nothing changed. can anyone tell me how we can play together in LAN?

thanks for helping

Also try checking:

1.) You are both on the same version of Tchnernobog
2.) Ensure the host has already started an active LAN game before attempting to connect to them.
3.) If the above two fail, try re-copying Tchernobog over. Perhaps a file or two were not copied properly?

try this if "OK" isnt active.
1."run as admin" each PC (especially host needs perhaps)
2.run notepad and type target (host) local address on client side
3.copy address on notepad and paste to input address screen

Sorry for replying that late, but my friend and I don't play very often.

We managed to make it work, my friend had to close CCleaner.
