In my experience: 1-Yes, MF does affect chest drops. I don't have the figures because it was a long time ago, but I did HOURS of experiment with 0%, 50%, 100%, 150%, 200%, 250%, 300% and 350% MF, and the difference is just undeniable. I have found like 3 HearthSeekers in LT Hell difficulty. MF was around 250 in the first two, and about 300 in the third (although it is not confirmed that MF affects chests at all; personally, I do believe it does).
