i remember in vanilla diablo a stream of lightning does less damage to a single target than a fireball at the same level. in this mod lightning does about 3 times more damage than fireball.

the more AC you already have, the LESS rewarding it is to increase AC.

the more -DFE you already have, the MORE rewarding it is to increase -DFE.

or, you actually didn't kill any demons even though you killed all those monsters. pay attention to the descriptions, a few types of demons in the original game are changed to beasts or humanoids.

rogue is a glass cannon. you can have neither much mana nor much life to keep you safe either way. mana shield is not really helpful later in the game and you need the mana to use skills and teleport. so use teleport to avoid getting hit instead.
