There probably won't (or at least shouln't) be until the mod is closer to final state, since it still needs work in the field of balancing, which implies some item stats also may change.

It should improve the damage of weapons and defense of armors... though it will also change their requirements, not only their durabilities. There was no lvl 16 in the original game, this mod adds a lvl 16 which contains the access to Arch-bishop Lazarus' lair and then to the Terror Domain — while they were in lvl 15 in the vanilla game.
I suppose that may be why you are surprised not to find Diablo in lvl 16.

However I remember reading about plans to make the text resources external to the program, which would make it much easier to translate, once the mod is closer to "final" state.

Well the sarcophagus from this mod's screenshot is exactly the same as in the original Diablo game so there's not much to say about it...

I actually thought it was much better when the Golem could wander somewhat freely, instead of just staying close to the player like he's been doing for a few versions now :/
