Hmm by the way, there is this small yet annoying issue with pathfinding when trying to attack some monster or otherwise interact with an object (such as a barrel) which I've been wanting to report for a while, yet I thought providing video "proof" would be the best before I do. Tried seein...

Click the arrow just on the right of that zone, and enable the "show detailed monster info" option (or something along those lines).

I think there's a mistake in the name of a unique monster : I've just met this one, but in the original game I'm pretty sure he's called Brokenhead Bangshield.

Perhaps if you post the contents of log.txt right after a crash, there might be some clue in it about why the crash occurred.

That just means the last save before the crash was before you looted him. The game can't be saving at every single action you perform or that would kill your drive.

I disagree. I think when referring to how realistic a game is, we mean to say how beleivable and natural the game's elements are.[…] Yeah, that was a hasty, half-troll comment on my part (and I had drank quite a bit of beer, which doesn't help ^^'). However, I'm no language expert, but th...

Come on, whenever anyone talks about making the game more "real", you should already know it's likely to be irrelevant. I mean, we're talking about a game where you can use magic spells and enchanted items like it is almost part of basic education, to fight demons, undead and such... enoug...

In Wirt's gossip text about Tremain, the text doesn't exactly match the audio. I hear "Picking up a few books" while the text currently says "[…] some books".

What bugs me when trying to play the original Diablo after trying Belzebub is how FPS are limited. That really makes it feel weird/not smooth enough how the background refreshes when your character moves.

Looks like you have issues with your graphics card or its drivers.
Which are these?

Try WinMPQ then.
Be careful though : if I remember well, it modifies files "on the fly", you don't have to manually save before changes are actually committed.
