I agree that there is a problem with lower level items being better than high end items due to some stats that make them so much better. There should be a skill that makes warrior/barb/assassin (?) more effective to deal with large numbers of monsters. There should be a way for magic dependent class...

I was really lucky and found one in catacombs hell difficulty. Farm there up to end of caves, that should at least increase your chances a little bit.

I do get your point, and I'm not saying your a cheater ass leave me alone or anything. I really wanna put out that I don't have any beef with you. I'm not angry or anything, I just pointed out that this is cheating, despite his view, and that I dislike it. If it were a multiplayer game I'd be raging but it isn't so what the hell.

I never said that this a balanced or completely thought thru mod. But editing game code to what you think should be or not be is just cheating. That is cheating.
If u can't grasp the mathematics used in this game and just put in what an item is "supposed" to have, than that's the very definition of cheating.
Please go and play solitaire or whatever you manage to play without cheating.
