Right, a shield lowers my DPS by like 20 but the amount of survivability you gain makes it worth it. The assassin has crap survivability out the box so I need the shield unless I want to die every pack of monsters.

Anyone know why this class exists? I started one because I thought it sounded fun but she's basically a warrior that is REALLY BAD at being a warrior. She has zero survivabilty while also doing only mediocre amounts of damage. Not to mention stealth just sometimes doesn't work and will break randoml...
