Just wanted to chime in about placing such .dll files on the machine when a program says they're missing. You should avoid placing them in the Windows folder unless you're absolutely certain you have to. Placing them there makes them available to all programs and things can just get worse from there...

So far the only solution I found is to click like mad while attacking.... This won't help with locking on, though if you're spam clicking, or clicking repeatedly in any game, I'd suggest using XMouseButtonControl . It will let you do a lot of handy things related to your mouse, including being able...

Being to lazy and unimaginative to implement something challenging rather than just ridiculous or outr...

If possible, if you have another drive/partition you could try putting the game there. For example in D:\Games\Diablo\ I haven't tried Windows 10 but apparently it's even more fussy about things running from the system partition and avoiding putting games there has helped people with other games, of...

@theon are you running Belzebub.exe or Diablo.exe, try make sure you're running Belzebub.exe. To stop that Diablo.exe error it may be worth trying a DEP exception since it mentions a access violation. Exactly how you do this depends on your version of Windows, though in 7 it goes like this. My Compu...

I've only played Belzebub about 6 months ago. Used a Warrior, Barbarian, Rogue and Sorcerer (in that order). I'd say I'm probably just an average player when it comes to Diablo/Belzebub, I don't know all the small details etc but enjoy it a lot (thanks, great stuff by the way). Checking now my Warri...

If it is OpenAL related, perhaps try installing OpenAL, or OpenAL-Soft (http://openal-soft.org/).

I really hope development hasn't stopped, these days it's virtually a requirement to make the old Diablo bearable.

If development does end I hope it's opened up so it might be supported for years to come.
