Allright, I think I was wrong about the Barbarian, he is not as good as the Rogue, but definitely not terrible either. I found some decent gear and he's now quite fun and easy to play. Although I do NOT use Frenzy at all, I find it a waste of time (maybe it becomes better in Torment, no idea). It's ...

maybe not as fast but who cares? I'm pretty sure the absolute majority of players care how their favorite class performs compared to others. No matter what someone is always gonna be faster Yeah, but when it's a factor of 3-5 times faster, it's a big issue. Until then only solution to this non exis...

I gotta check that. Thing is, some bosses only drop nice things once, after that they never drop anything worthwhile. I know for certain that Risen Hero always drops several magic items, often rares or uniques. The Butcher, however, does not. No idea about Sergius. edit: yeah, he actually does drop ...

Easiest and fastest way to obtain gear is to do chest runs in the Lost Treasure quest. They are guaranteed to drop several magic items, very often rares. And you don't have to fight anyone, just teleport to the room and loot the chests. I know it's not very fun to do, but many people do it. It's sim...

Well, the mod is finished, what more development could there be? It's stable, there are no (visible) bugs etc. Hell, even vanilla Diablo had more gamebreaking bugs than this. How about projectiles fired diagonally at certain angles not hitting enemies? That was still not fixed after 9 patches! (this...

I never said you can't beat the game with Barbarian, I'm just saying walking through the game is much slower and much less fun than when you're using Rogue/Warrior. Playing on my Warrior right now and it feels so much better, I can just charge into anything. Or teleport, which I can cast much faster...

that's why there are several classes to provide a different experience When the experience varies so much as to make walkthrough without twink items physically impossible and with twink items painfully slow, annoying and tedious, that's a sign of a badly balanced game. Vanilla Diablo had the exact ...

I'm not comparing apples with oranges, I'm comparing classes to one another. They are supposed to be equally strong in various environments. In your vid, you just spent half a minute chasing three succubi - with Frenzy! With my Rogue, I could've just shot them to death in about two seconds. Sorry, b...

Sorry, but your videos are from Terror Domain where no one runs away (advos are relatively easy compared to goatmen or succubi). Not really a great example. I'm playing through Nightmare as a Barbarian right now with gear handed down by my Sorceror and it's so annoying I'm considering just ignoring ...

Rogue and Warrior seem to be the strongest late-game classes to me for following reasons: - Rogue has no problems with immunities, unlike the Sorceror. She is ranged, easily avoids melee combat (so doesn't have to deal with bullshit champion affixes such as Fire Enchanted or Lightning Enchanted), do...

What does the "monster on hit effects" setting do?
Forgive my ignorance, but I just couldn't figure out what it does. I don't notice any changes with it on or off.
I thought it maybe enables/disables monster knockbacks and getting frozen by certain mobs, but no. It has no effect on stuff like this. So what does it do then?
