I guess that explains it, does the timer only work while in terror's domain or you can just go down for a second and the timer will continue?

I was pretty much just doing levels 1-10 because I was trying to get flawed gems as the higher levels will give you better gear and of course normal gems when salvaged.

I wasn't running terror domain so I guess that could be the reason.

Yeh I've got all of them enabled.

The game looks fine, its just the background goes out of focus while the main character stays clear which hurts your eyes if you look at anything besides your character. Maybe it was always like that? Diablo 1 doesn't do it though.

Seems like it does it even when playing without the hack.

I've tried glide3D, Direct2D and 3D but the background goes out of focus when you move.

Has anyone tried the multi res hack for Diablo 2?

When I walk or run the background blurs and it hurts your eyes. I've tried both direct draw and 3D but there is no difference.

I'd kill Lazarus and I wouldn't open the chest, I'd just keep grinding around levels and I never got cain to activate the uber diablo prompt. Really? I killed him plenty of times and I never got the map of the stars quest and I never had Cain tell me Diablo reached his full power after the hour had past, only happened to me when I picked up the map and spoke to Cain.

I guess it just does it anyway?

What I did for the map of the stars is clear terror domain first and then go back and pick up the scroll. This gave me plenty of time just to focus on diablo.

On to nightmare, Diablo was a walk in the park compared to him. I think I only used one rejuvenation potion.

Good to know, I'm rarely finding any gear better than what I have at the moment because I'm still stuck on normal.

What dex should I have to stand a chance against the blood knight boss?

Yeh I've been running the unholy altar a few times, luckily its one of the easiest rooms and Lazarus is a push over.

I haven't found the spell weavers amulet recipe yet, I've got some rogue necromancer sorcerer and barbarian recipes but that's it. Are the recipes random drops as well?

Yeh I followed a guide that was for the original diablo and it said to put some into magic. I also didn't know that the potions you get towards the end of the game aren't permanent like the original and vit is the only potions you couldn't buy. Maybe I should should use a hack or trainer to redistri...

I didn't know his hits get faster after each strike, I guess that explains how quickly he takes you out. I was thinking of just using a shield and sword but that would most likely be useless against him.

I'm currently lvl 29, base stats are s:31 m:71 d:105 v:47

with gear I'm s:56 m:109 d:137 v:94

Would grinding a few levels help? Or is he to strong and with the rogues low health it doesn't make much difference?

I'm pretty bad at dancing around fast moving bosses, they almost always catch me and then I get stunned locked and die. I might have to practice moving around objects more.
