I just tried from another User Account on this same computer and it worked just fine.

What happens when you run the game in "Full Screen" mode, switch Full screen Off in the Settings to return to the desktop, minimize the window, then try to return?

Are you able to? If so, which version of Windows are you running?

Thanks for the reply, but no, deleting the settings does nothing once the game has already loaded and the settings have been read.

I guess this is a bug. When you are equipped with a magic staff, the spell should appear in the list of Spells so you can see the amount of damage it does. In the original D1, a spell enabled by a staff would enable the associated icon under the list of Spells and provide details on Damage range and...
