Helloh!
I found out about this mod recently and have had a blast playing it so far. Well, until today that is. Now for some reason any time I try to run Belzebub I hear the Blizzard logo for half a second, the screen stays black, and a "Belzebub.exe Has Stopped Working" error will pop up crashing the game. A fresh install of Diablo 1.0 will run, updating to 1.09 will run, but Belzebub will not.
I've spent the day uninstalling, reinstalling, updating, trying different orders, all in and out of Administrator mode just trying to get something to stick without any luck. I doubt that it's an openGL issue because as I said earlier, it was working quite well until today. The only difference between yesterday and today is that the Windows 10 Creators update went through on my computer.
If anyone has any ideas, or could point me in the right direction to get up and running again I'd greatly appreciate it.

@theon are you running Belzebub.exe or Diablo.exe, try make sure you're running Belzebub.exe.
To stop that Diablo.exe error it may be worth trying a DEP exception since it mentions a access violation. Exactly how you do this depends on your version of Windows, though in 7 it goes like this.
My Computer > System Properties > Advanced System Settings > Advanced > Settings > Data Execution Prevention > Add
Then browse for and select the Diablo.exe file in question. Click "Ok" until the setting has been applied, then try running the program again.
I thought I'd mention this because checking now I had a DEP exception for Diablo.exe, though I removed it and Belzebub still worked so I doubt this will help with trying to run Belzebub.exe.
Note: DEP exceptions will only apply to the file with that name at the selected location, meaning if you move the file (in this case Diablo.exe) to another location that DEP exception will no longer apply.
Also, if you remove the file the DEP settings menu might not let you remove the exception, it may only let you remove the exception if the file in question is in the expected location.
Though if you ever end up with DEP exceptions you can't remove because of that you can delete them from the registry at (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers) though it's not serious if you just leave them there.
