Mouse movement problem

Post by Imacutyou »

Hullo everyone,

I just discovered this mod, downloaded it and am about ready to get stuck in, it looks amazing..

However, I am experiencing an annoying issue; when using any resolution larger than 800x600, the mouse will not move below about 1/3 of the screen from the bottom. This in effect makes all the buttons on the ui unreachable. It is like the game thinks the lower screen boundry is a lot higher than it actually is..

This occurs in both windowed and fullscreen modes..

Has anyone experienced this issue, and maybe have a fix for it? On 800x600, there is no problem, but i really want to enjoy this game at much higher resolution..

Thanks in advance guys!

Ok, so after fiddling around a bit I seem to have made it worse.. now when I increase the resolution, the game stretches off the screen to the top and to the right, and the mouse still won't move over the bottom 3rd of the screen..

It's like no matter what resolution i choose, the screen only shows the bottom left 800x600 pixels, everything else is off screen..

I've got the latest video drivers, not sure what else to try.. any ideas, anyone?
I'm running Windows 10, if that matters..

In the meantime I'll carry on with 800x600..

Huh, I sorted it.

Under the compatibility tab of the .exe's properties, I checked the box to "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings", and then boom. Fixed.

I am now enjoying one of my nostalgic favourites on a 42" screen in full HD.. Thankyou so much to the maker(s) of this mod, it's amazing.

Sharing just in case anyone else has the same issue =)
