Diablo 1 HD Hellfire Mod | Awake

Hi, I just started playing belzebub a few days ago (level 10 barbarian)

I killed the butcher and made my way down to level 3.. after a bit of exploring belzebub decided to crash

but the worse thing is, now I can't even click on singleplayer without the client closing??? whats on the go?

any insight would help thanks!

Try a reinstall, thou you really just need to redownloading the mod files and copying the diabdat.mpq from the original Diablo CD anywhere in a folder (except Program Files) to make it work. Also remember to backup your current saves from ../Data/player_save folder as well.

Before you reinstall want to mention:
It happens to me when I try logging into the game for the first time since resetting the pc. So I log into a different character so the game loads into memory correctly. Then I'm able to log into my main character no problem. I also tried logging into my character 5 times. On the 3rd I thought it wasn't going to work. However, I tried a couple more & was able to log in on the 5th try.

tl;dr: Don't give up. Keep trying. And as a general rule always back-up your main character.
