Doomlock will remain the same. He doesn't teleport at all. That is just fade in/out of shadows like hidden monster.

my rogue did have a little trouble with this knight. he's by far the hardest enemy for rogue. but it's not impossible. actually it's quite easy once you get the hang of it. i killed him on the 4th or 5th try. don't need nothing fancy, just a bow and two legs. you see, if you get too far away from him, he's gonna either teleport to you or charge at you, which both mean your ass. so what i did was, i kept my distance just far enough so he would always have to take two steps before he could attack me, but not further. i'd just shoot him while he's walking and walk away while he's attacking. he couldn't touch me at all for the entire fight. the timing is tight but once you get the rhythm, it's just a matter of time before he goes down, or up...

Mostly I agree with the previous points but in points:
1) Bloodlord gets faster and faster with each attack, so once he lands, I would say, 3rd attack on you, you are as good as dead. Don't let it happen.
2) To not let it happen, have a golem summoned, he will buy you time to land several shoots with either guided arrow or the ball-arrow (depends on your level)
3) When your golem is dead, either re-summon another, or if its on cooldown, teleport away and wait to for cooldowns. If you dont have teleport yet, just run away not in a straight line.
4) Repeat the process
Oh and you should stay behind your golem by square or 2, so even in worst case scenario that bloodlord teleports between u and golem, just move backward 1 square, and his aggro will be focused on golem.

The real problem is dark knight hero on the same level at nightmare or hell difficulty. His characteristics are somewhat random, but there is a good chance he will get HASTE. And trust me, he is 6x times harder to kill than bloodlord, as he doesnt forgive ANY mistakes. 1 hit from him, and u are dead ^_^

But yeah, remember rogues, golem is our best friend. 9-th level torment rogue tells you that! I'm hoping to get torment cleared within this week.

I found this guy pretty hard to beat, at least with ranged characters
I had a problem aswell with mage until i tried to wear faster hit recovery gear. I had two griswolds rings with 20% FHR each (transfered extra one from barbarian trough chest) and that unique quest armor from catacombs that gives 40% FHR so overall i had 80% extra fhr. I was just spamming golems when cd let me and i was using guardian spell while walking around, i didn't even have teleport spell back then he couldn't stunlock me with such high fhr.

I found this dude to be stronger than any other unique monster even diablo. Well only him forced me to change gear and think how to beat him.

i just cleared nightmare and didn't seem to notice this dark knight hero you were talking about. did you mean on the same level as bloodlord? i.e. the last level? i just killed everything there and bloodlord is still the most annoying battle. even though i did it the same way and it worked perfectly. he still couldn't hit me once. but it took really long because he's got a lot more hp this time.

i don't know how you could have missed him. he's one of the three mini-bosses you have to kill one by one on the last floor before you can see diablo, unless you are playing a totally different version of the game.

ok i see. you mean the arkanie's valor guy right? i just killed him in hell. yeah haste is pretty annoying as it speeds up walking, attacking, and casting altogether. i died a lot. but it doesn't hold a candle to teleport. you can simply teleport over a wall that would otherwise take a long walk to get around, then you got plenty of time to do whatever you have to do before he gets to you.

I beat him as a sorceror, but the tactic I used to keep up my ranged offense is i always moved diagonally from him because he only likes to charge in straight "isometric" lines. Then I would shoot him until right before he got close enough to where he could stop and swing, which would give me enough time to get a good range where I could fire off a few more rounds. If you stay close enough to keep him focused, he won't teleport either. If you get a hang of the rhythm, this guy will be easy.
