Help my barbarian please

hello. just started play this mod few days ago and i am loving it !
At the moment at nightmare i am struggling to proceed with quests and levels. currently i am lvl 32 and got problem to stay alive and kill monster (currently have 300dps base and 500hp).
Where should i farm better items ? tried chamber of bones but cannot find anything good.
if someone have some advice to give me is welcome
also what's the matter with mortal strike skill ? does slighly more dmg than an average hit and the cooldown is 6seconds..

/edit also is nightamre treasure map a good spot to find some good items ? i am finding only low lvl stuff .. cant actually 30~ lvl items drop from there ? or i am just unlucky. and magic find work on chest too ? or just on monsters

play babarian , you must equid your char got 5XX def and 5XX hp
My char is babarian too , and he got 700 def and 530 hp ( lv 40 now)
but if your lv is 32 , you should down

Bastard sword unique
3 items are good for your lv now
and then train to lv 37 , you equid amor CUIRASS unique

thanks for reply but i was hoping i could find items myself. maybe that's the problem .. i have like 150 defense..

also why i should use mortal strike ? feel useless to me ..

it's says 120% extra damage actually.. at least on my screen and 6s cd
probably is 380 at lvl 50. and even considered that 6s cd is a big drawback..
also i am using azurewrath that is a reallt fast weapon .. i guess get more benefits with a slow weapon since attack speed is fixed

ok ty .. so might be usefull later on.. cant find a good weapon azurewrath is kinda bad for late nightmare
