if you have teleport, that guy is the easiest mob in the entire game.

there should always be a little island you can teleport to right above where he spawns. he can never reach you from there. If you don't have teleport yet, ummm.. well. first off.. you should be using lightning...ESPECIALLY for single targets.. it's the best spell in the game for single targets. Guardian is better if you stack enough of them, but lightning is what you'll want to use for most of normal. Chain lightning also when you get it for taking out large packs. Teleport isn't actually necessary at all in normal, but when you get it, you should be abusing the hell out of it with your large mana pool and mana shield.

really the only real trick to sorcerer is knowing what spell is the best at any given moment. for most case scenarios.. you'll want to stick to lightning/chain lightning for most of normal and even nightmare. You'll need to start using other spells because of immunities, but you don't have to worry about that in normal. just let lightning/chain lightning carry you through the game. Sorcerer is the easiest class to beat the game in this mod and vanilla alike because of how overpowered lightning/chain lightning is. If you manage to get a staff with lots of lightning or chain lightning charges, you'll want to start using it immediately in order to conserve mana. With the buff to staff recharge, staves like that are even better for leveling. In vanilla iirc, the max number of charges goes down with every use of staff recharge.. same with the warriors repair, the max durability goes down. At least I've always remembered it being like that in vanilla. Not like that here anyways.
