My guess, loosing all gold happens when you too much clicking at the moment of death. Idk why. Especially at very high attack speed with frenzy(or fanaticism, they are same skills).
Weapons/armors with 'chance to cast' cause shit tons of lightning bolts when you melee, i just don't use them.

It's not only assassin bug, the same thing happens with barbarian while using frenzy.

50-170mf(~140 most of the time), my rogue 58lvl.

So, i got some 75-77qlvl stuff from mages (like Seraph's Asylum, Highlord's wrath, Cranium Basher, Fist of Heavens, Symbol of Power).
Pretty sure they can drop all items.

I farmed this week LT chests and mages with my 57lvl Rogue.
What i got: highlords might (qlvl 74), redeemer (70), glory x2 (58), eaglehorn (60) and some other stuff.
